My name is Elaisa Gomez. My first year in the Zimmer School family was 2019-2020. I love working in the infant room and watching the babies grow. I enjoy encouraging their social-emotional development, helping them to learn and practice age-appropriate skills, and loving them every day.

I have a BA in Tourism Administration from Colegio Mayor de Bolívar in Colombia. When I came to the states, I earned the Maryland Child Care Credential to work with infants and toddlers in Early Childhood Education. I have worked in this field for over nine years. Currently I am studying to get my Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification.

I have two grown up children. My daughter is an engineer, and my son is studying to be a physical therapist. I have two dogs–one little one, and one big one. In my spare time, I like to read non-fiction books because I love to learn new things. I also like to travel, to visit new places and to meet new people wherever I go.
