Hello, I am Callie,
I am very excited to join the faculty of Zimmer Preschool. I believe that a teacher’s job is to view each individual child’s potential through the lens of a growth mindset, and to empower each to achieve his/her best. I strive to create a joyful classroom culture that encourages all the students to feel pride in themselves and their classmates and to love learning.
In my teaching career, I have spent over twenty years as a children’s theater director and acting teacher, and have taught Spanish, Jewish education, and music. In my most recent position at The Sundance School, I was the Educational Innovation and Technology Specialist, creating and teaching an inquiry-led STEAM curriculum for preschool - 5th grade students.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Music at SUNY Albany, and hold two Master’s degrees in Education.
In my spare time, I play my guitar and sing, and reread Jane Austen novels. I have three grown-up daughters, two grandkids, and two dogs.

Morah Ana

Hello there! It's a pleasure to introduce myself my name is Ana Mizhquiri. I'm excited to join the Zimmer family but most of all getting to know all of the children at Zimmer.
A little about me: I have a 5-year-old whose name is Sebastian. I lived in NY for 24 years and moved last year to NJ. I got my associates at Borough of Manhattan and completed 100 hours of early childhood care. After getting my Associates Degree, I attended Queens College where I graduated in 2020 with my B.A in Secondary Education in Spanish. I'm currently pursing my M.A in Special Education. In these 7 years I have gained experience in all ages from toddler to high schoolers.
My goal at Zimmer is to watch the children grow mentally and physically. Seeing a child achieve a milestone is an amazing experience and, as parents to hear that our child reaches a milestone makes our day. What I love about working with children is seeing the work they get done and their enthusiasm day to day.
On my days off I love to walk, dance, listen to music, watch movies and spend time with my family. Looking forward to meeting you all!
