Our Kindergarten (and 1st grade) program brings the unique flavor of Zimmer to grade school age. We follow NJ’s Core Curriculum Content Standards, but it is in how we teach that makes the difference.
Our program runs Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. This generous 6-hour day, our small class sizes, and highly adept teachers are some of the ingredients that make our program so effective.
To accommodate families who need extended hours beyond 9:00am to 3:00pm, we offer Early Care from 7:00am, and After Care until 6:00pm.
To ensure a seamless experience for our children, we communicate regularly with our parent body. In addition to the teachers’ availability to talk with parents when the need arises, we offer monthly blogs with text and photographs; bi-annual teacher/parent conferences along with a written record (broken down according to NJ Core Curricular Standards, and a Narrative to bring those components to life); and journalling created over the course of the year, showcasing your child’s growth in all aspects of development.
