Morah Yessi Tong
My name is Yessenia Tong but those close to me (like my Zimmer family) call me “Morah Yessi.” I have seven years of experience teaching children (infants to kindergarten), and I have had the opportunity to teach in many schools! I have learned so many things through my classroom experiences, and I have taken what I have learned to heart. This has helped me to be the teacher I am today.
My goal every day is to help these children learn how to understand their needs and to advocate for them, and also to take ownership of their own learning and to help them reach their own goals. I am so happy and excited to be able to work in the classroom of Older Toddlers. I have many plans for these children to learn and have fun this year.
In my free time, I like to listen to music, watch movies, and dance. I like to organize and clean too! But overall I love to spend time with my kids and family.
