Hello, I am Indira Gonzalez. I am honored to be part of the beautiful at Zimmer community. I think the first years of someone’s life are remarkable because it is when the body and mind create their unique bond, hence, anyone around children has the important task of helping their young minds create this unique synergy.

During my career as an educator, I have had the opportunity to teach children, as young as one year old, up to teenagers in their freshman year of college. My most recent teaching experience has been in a preschool program whose curriculum included a wide array of activities from social-emotional to academic development, and I look forward to bringing this to my classroom at Zimmer.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, and a Master’s in Exercise Science and Physical Education. In my free time, I like to practice different activities in accordance with the season of the year: running in the spring, surfing in the summer, biking in the fall, and skiing in the winter.

I am bilingual – Spanish is my first language, and I have lived and studied in many different countries, giving me an appreciation for different cultures. I travel whenever I can because it makes me very happy to see the many wonderful places our planet has.
